Spanglish Summary

We can understand Spanglish even though it is not our language. Spanglish is cross between Spanish and English. It gets picked up mainly from children or TV.  Spanglish is used to simplify sentences. It can be different depending on location.  A city on one end of the country could speak Spanglish differently than the opposite side of the country. People are keeping the simpler words or phrases from each language and merging the languages together. Spanish is usually elected in high school , so even though we, English speakers may not think we know Spanish we are a least familiar with it.  The hybrid language has increased the last ten years.  Latinos use Spanglish in transitioning to and from languages.  Spanglish is more time efficient so it is being used more. Spanglish has connected two cultures. Advertisers are trying to hit the $134 billion cross market by advertising in Spanglish.
